Four more days to file self-employed tax forms 130 and 131 with the Tax Authorities
The Tax Authorities have acknowledged technical problems with the electronic filing of forms 130 and 131. Therefore, it has extended the filing deadline by four days.
Monday, April 20 was the deadline for self-employed individuals to submit to the Treasury the quarterly IRPF liquidation (forms 130 and 131 of fractioned payments, in direct and objective estimation). However, users who have tried to access the services on the last day of the deadline have encountered errors in the procedures. “We are currently experiencing several temporary errors when performing different procedures in the Electronic Headquarters that can be identified with the message Error CICS or Error 500″, explains the Tax Agency on its website. Since 11:00 a.m. on Monday morning, it has not been possible, for technical reasons, to submit these forms online.
In addition to forms 130 and 131, there have also been technical problems with forms 123, 124, 126 and 128 for withholdings on income from movable capital.
In view of these errors, the Tax Agency has extended by four days, until April 24, the deadline for filing the aforementioned self-assessments. Form 136 for the self-assessment of the special tax on lottery prizes may also be filed until April 24.
“We expect the issue to be resolved shortly. Please try the procedure again during the course of the day,” the Agency advises users experiencing the technical glitches.
For the rest of the forms whose filing deadline ended on Monday, in the case of the 303 VAT self-assessment form, the deadline is not extended as they are not affected by the impossibility of filing.
The Tax Agency has apologized for the inconvenience caused and assures that it is working to solve the technical problems “as soon as possible”, while reminding that for more information, taxpayers can call the tax information telephone number (901 33 55 55 33). In addition, the Tax Agency has a Twitter account @informaticaaeat for queries, there is an open chat for queries (from 9 am to 7 pm) and also through an open form for this purpose.
